Fractional Vs decimal odds
Across the world, there are different betting odds systems used. In the UK and Ireland, sports betting fans are used to what is called fractional odds. These odds are easy to explain. Let’s look at an example:
Manchester United 1/2
Draw 4/1
Liverpool 5/4
In fractional odds, the second number always represents the stake, and the first number the return (minus the stake).
So, using the above example, if you bet 2 MYR on Manchester United, and Manchester United win, you will receive 1 MYR + 2 MYR (your stake) in return. So you win 1 MYR with a 2 MYR stake.
If the match ends in a draw, and you have bet 1 MYR, you will receive 4 MYR + 1 MYR (your stake) in return.
If Liverpool win, and you have bet 4 MYR, you will get 5 MYR + 4 MYR (your stake) in return.
So in this example, the draw offers the biggest return in relation to your stake.
Decimal odds – favoured in Europe and other parts of the world – work on the same principle but offer up the same mathematical equation in decimal form, rather than as a fraction. So here are the same odds as above, but this time in decimal form:

Draw 5.0
Liverpool 2.25
In the above decimals, the numbers represent what you would receive from a 1 MYR bet. So if you bet 1 MYR on Manchester United to win, you would get 1.5 MYR as a return (including your stake). If you bet 2 MYR, you would get 3 MYR (including your stake, so you can see it works out the same as the fractional odds above.

1×2

Draw no bet
Draw no bet is like 1×2, but it takes the draw out of the equation. Bet on the home team or away team to win (not the draw), and if the match does end in a draw, then your stake is returned.
HT/FT
HT/FT is Half Time/Full Time. Bet on the team that will be winning at half time, and then the team that will be winning at full time. It doesn’t have to be the same team!
First team to score
